学校介绍
　　建校于1965年，在校生规模达20,000余人的综合性大学，其2008年排名在加拿大综合类大学中本科名列第一。
SFU共设有三个校区，均位于“全世界最适于人类居住的地方”加拿大BC省温哥华市：主校区在大温哥华区的本拿比市，两所分校分别设在温哥华市中心和大温哥华区的素里市，三校之间有世界上著名的温哥华“空中火车”连接，交通十分方便。
 
SFU特别重视来自世界各地的多元文化，十分欢迎来自世界各地的留学生到校学习，没有种族歧视，对中国学生尤为欢迎。

    SFU设置的专业非常全面，六大学院开设超过100多个专业, 几乎包括了当今世界上最受欢迎的所有学科,，诸如，艺术、应用科学、自然科学、商业、教育等等。SFU的入学时期分为春、夏、秋三季。
